<p><strong>Xbox 360 S console</strong><br />
Note Before we begin, one thing you should remember is when you handling your Xbox 360 hard drive, never touch the contacts on the hard disk drive. In addition, you should avoid the use of any metal objects.</p>

<p><strong>Inserting a new hard drive for Xbox 360 S console</strong><br />
<strong>1. </strong> Turn off the console and unplug it from the wall.<br />
<strong>2.</strong> Position the console horizontally then rotate it so that right-side of the console faces you.<br />
<strong>3.</strong> On the right side of the console, near the back, locate the hard drive cover.<br />
<strong>4.</strong> Slide the release cover button forward and pull the cover open to reveal the hard drive.</p>

<p><strong>5.</strong> Slide the new hard disk drive into the slot slowly, once inside, push the drive forward slightly until you hear it click into place.</p>

<p><strong>6.</strong> Put the hard drive’s cover back on and make sure that the release button secures the cover in place.<br />
<strong>7.</strong> Plug in and then turn on your Xbox console.</p>
<p><strong>8.</strong> Verify that the Xbox detects the new hard drive by checking your system settings.</p>

<p><strong>Removing a hard drive for Xbox 360 S console </strong></p>

<p><strong>5.</strong> Look for a small, black tab on the edge of the hard drive. Pull the tab carefully toward you and the hard disk will slide out of place.</p>
